Wickenburg is an historical location for gold mining in Arizona and we have had several classes there. Noah demonstrated the desert prospecting techniques of dry washing and panning where there is no water…and lots of sunshine!

We had a great gold prospecting outing with a Boy Scout group and their families up on the WAM in New Hampshire. The weather was perfect and gold was in their pans!

We just completed another Arizona gold prospecting class. We had a great time even though it got a bit toasty. We dug out a few good holes, ran about 10 buckets through the dry washer and panned out most of the concentrates. And there was color in our pans!

Glen was adventurous on Sunday taking Dustin and Summer up to the Agua Fria in Arizona when the forecast was for 114°. Luckily it cooled down during the night and the morning was perfect for hiking and prospecting!

We had a beautiful day on the Swift River in Maine last Saturday with Ted, Ken, Mike and Heidi. Great weather and some nice color. Thanks to Dan for the use of his dredge, worked like a charm!

We had our first 2 Arizona gold prospecting classes this past week. The weather was fantastic and gold to be found. Thanks to our students and looking forward to more Arizona adventures!
