Well, time to get the winter gear out for some exciting Winter Prospecting!

Some interesting tidbits from the river…mostly pyrite I guess.

Here is some nice gold from the clay layer up on the Wild AM…    

There is gold all over New England, pretty much every state. A good reference tool is YANKEE PLACER GOLD that can be purchased on Amazon HERE.  

Here’s an amazing hunk of pyrite (Fools Gold) from California that my Aunt gave me many years ago. Quite a nice piece!
