We had a great gold prospecting outing with a Boy Scout group and their families up on the WAM in New Hampshire. The weather was perfect and gold was in their pans!

Our 8th annual BIG DIG prospecting event was held on July 8-9th and was a blast! Everyone picked up some nice color and one guy really hit it big! Here are some photos from the event:

We had a great class on May 21st up on the WAM. The weather was perfect and we got to try out the new electric mini-highbanker. Everyone found gold and looking forward to returning for more! See you all at BIG DIG VIII on July 8-10.

Our first gold prospecting class of the 2016 season was a “chilly” success. The temps were pretty low when we got started but the day warmed up nicely as did the gold! We got some great panning practice and got a couple sluices running also. Thanks to all who attended!

American Gold Prospectors has debuted their Season 1 – Episode 1 video, and it’s great!

So winter is thinking about winding down here in New England (we all hope!) and it’s time to start making plans for Spring Prospecting.

Well, another BIG DIG has come and gone, but it was certainly a good one! Over 50 attending this year with some new activities like Giant Jenga and a raffle to benefit the local food pantry. Lots of gold too! Thanks to all who made this a great event. Here are some photos…
